Noel Barrett Legal Services is the trading name of Noel Barrett Legal Services Limited a company registered in England and Wales, company registration number 10890092 and whose registered office is situated at Post Cottage, Ugthorpe, Whitby, North Yorkshire, YO21 2BQ. Directors: G N Barrett and R M Barrett. We are not solicitors. We are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We do not carry compulsory professional indemnity insurance, we do however carry £1 million non-compulsory professional indemnity insurance.

Data Protection Statement Under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018

We will not use or disclose your Personal Data for our own or any third party marketing purposes other than when we are expressly obliged to disclose such Personal Data as a matter of law. Nor will we use or disclose your Personal Data to any third parties for any other purpose or purposes save as to when we are expressly obliged to disclose such Personal Data as a matter of law and save as to where you have consented to our sharing your Personal Data within our Terms of Business with other Lawyers your Accountants or other Experts, The Land Registry, HMRC and other such Public Bodies. 

Your Personal Data will be retained by us as follows:

Files – for the duration of the period during which the file remains active and thereafter until your archived file is destroyed by us in accordance with time period detailed in our Terms of Business

Deeds, Wills and Powers of Attorney – for the duration of the period you instruct us to store such documents for you.

Mr G. Noel Barrett LLB (Hons) is the Company’s Data Protection Officer and any requests for details of Personal Data held, as to the processing of your Personal Data, or any complaints as to the unauthorised disclosure of your Personal Data should be made to him in writing at the Company’s address.
